The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team put together seven top-five finishes during the 2015-16 athletic season, including a trio of runner-up placements and one event victory.

The season began back in September with the Blue Raider Kickoff event in which Lindsey Wilson finished as the runner-up, trailing only Dalton State (Ga.) by six strokes in the 12-team tournament.

Lindsey Wilson went on to finish 10th in the Deer Park Classic and 16th in the NAIA Preview Tournament during the fall, competing against the top NAIA teams in the country in both events. In between those two tournaments the Blue Raiders grabbed a third-place at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament. The Blue Raiders closed out the fall season strong with a win at the Bowling Green Preview Tournament as senior Jonathon Grabara took home medalist honors with a 3-under par performance.

Lindsey Wilson continued its tough slate into the spring as the Blue Raiders captured seventh at the Battle at the Beach, followed by back-to-back fourth-place finishes at the Skyhawk Invitational and Challenge at Dalhousie, again taking on some of the top squads in the NAIA.

The men's team then captured their second runner-up finish of the year at the MSC Spring Tournament, finishing just four strokes behind tournament winner in Cumberlands (Ky.). Grabara pulled in medalist honors once again after topping the field by two strokes. Grabara and Chris Butler were both named to the all-tournament team for their top-five finishes.

Lindsey Wilson then closed out the season with a runner-up finish at the MSC Championship Tournament. Grabara took third at the three-day event while Federico Navarro finished in a tie for fourth place.

For their efforts throughout the three MSC tournaments during the year, Grabara was named to the All-MSC First Team, while Navarro and Zach Madewell both picked up All-MSC Second Team accolades.

Twice during the year Grabara was named MSC Golfer of the Week. Butler earned the weekly conference award once during the season.

Grabara would finish his senior campaign with five top-five finishes. Butler and Navarro both grabbed a pair of top fives, while Madewell had one.
