Fausteen Chumbley, Casey County, KY (1932-2016)

She formerly the proprietor of Chumbley's Grocery, and a former cook at Phelps Elementary School in Casey County, KY. She was a the daughter of the late Estill and Effie Henson Wesley, and the widow of Cecil Chumbley. She leaves 29 direct living descendants. She was a member of New Life Tabernacle. Her final resting place will be in South Casey County, KY

Fausteen Chumbley, age 83, of Liberty, KY passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center, Liberty, KY.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Tuesday June 14,, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Johnny Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9amCT/10amET, Tuesday June 14, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born in Evona, Casey County, KY on August 24, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Estill and Effie Henson Wesley. She died Saturday, June 11, 2016, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 83 years, nine months, and 18 days.
BR> Fausteen was the widow of Cecil Chumbley and was the former owner of Chumbley's Grocery, former cook at Phelps Elementary School and a member of New Life Tabernacle.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Joyce Troxell of Monticello, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Fifteen great grandchildren

  • and six great great grandchildren.
Preceding her death besides her parents and spouse were two daughters, Judy Douglas and Betty Jo Morgan; One sister, Vertis Withers; and two brothers, Marvin and Travis Wesley.
