That Contested 2014 Columbia Mayoral race: Held in Abeyance

In case anyone remembers that the mayoral election of November 2014, is still in the courts, the latest step in the Appeal by Attorney Elmer George on behalf of Ben Arnold, et al vs. The Adair County Board of elections was posted June 8, 2016:
"THE MOTION FOR REVIEW OF THE DECISION OF THE COURT OF APPEALS IS HEREBY HELD IN ABEYANCE PENDING FINAL DISPOSITION OF HARDIN V. MONTGOMERY, 2015-SC-000572-DG AND MAGOFFIN COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS V. MONTGOMERY, 2015-SC-000575-DG."Appellants in the case are Ben Arnold (Primary), and Ruth Smith, and William Burton. Appellees are Adair County Board of Elections (Primary), and city of Columbia, Curtis Hardwick, and June Parsons.
