Only one business in Adair County has applied for an ABC License; and, as of this date at noon, only one business, with four locations, has applied for a license.

To find Alcoholic Beverage License Holders in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor Counties, and all of the other of Kentucky's 120 counties, use this link: License Look Up at the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Using the Drop Down List for "Counties" on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, there were:
  • 0 Licenses issued for Adair County
  • 1 License in Cumberland Co. for small farm winery.
  • 2 Licenses issued for Green County
  • 23 Licenses issued for Russell County
  • 8 Licenses issued for Taylor County
Casey, Cumberland, and Metcalfe are Dry at this time.

Rhonda Clerk, acting ABC Commissioner for the City of Columbia, said today that only one party has applied for an ABC license in Columbia, for:
  • The Four 5-Star locations in the city of Columbia are applying for NQ (No Quota, meaning there are no limits on the number of licenses which could be issue) Retail Malt Beverage Package Licenses, for their stores at 100 Hudson Street, 802 Jamestown Street, 1125 Campbellsville Street, and 3100 Burkesville Road
Adair County ABC Commissioner Shannon Sexton said that, thus far, only one application has been received by her office for:
  • Crossroads Baits, 5585 Knifley Road, Knifley, KY for a NQ Retail Malt Beverage Package License.
Decisions on granting licenses are made by the State Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

A number of businesses have posted notices in the Adair Progress of their intentions to apply for licenses. Those notices are the first requirement, and are made independently of the ABC Commissions for the City and County and the State.
