Estus (Eckie) Ashbrook, 76, Russell County, KY (1939-2016)

He was a truck driver for Stephens Pipe & Steel. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and was a resident at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Ewell & Faye James Ashbrook. His wife, Betty Ann Ashbrook, survives. He leaves a large respected family, with deep roots Russell, Adair and Green Counties and elsewhere.

Estus "Eckie" Ashbrook, 76, of Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. Funeral service for Estus "Eckie" Ashbrook will be 1pmCT, Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro. Steve Bunch officiating. Visitation after 11amCT, Thursday. Interment will be in the White's Chapel Cemetery. Special Music will be rendered by Aaron Ashbrook.



Pallbearers: Phillip Ashbrook, Timmy George, Aaron Ashbrook, Greg George Devin Fancher, Dennis McWhorter, Kenny Dixon, Tim Roy.
Estus "Eckie" Ashbrook, 76, Russell County, KY (1939-2016)

He was born August 16, 1939 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Ewell & Faye James Ashbrook. He died Monday, May 23, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 76 years, nine months, and seven days.

He was a truck driver for Stephens Pipe & Steel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Recie Franklin.

Survivors include his wife: Betty Ann Ashbrook, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two children: Phillip Ashbrook, Greensburg, KY; and Rita Campbell, Columbia, KY

  • Seven step children: Becky Dixon, Greensburg, KY; Ricky George, Columbia, KY; Gary George, Edmonton, KY; Greg George, Russell Springs, KY; Randy George, Russell Springs, KY; Tammie George, Russell Springs, KY; Timmy George, Russell Springs, KY

  • Several grandchildren and great grandchildren

  • One sister: Juanita Wilson, Russell Springs, KY
