Lewis Barlow, 82, Casey County, KY (1933-2016)

Lewis Barlow was a former Insurance Salesman. He was a member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church and a US Army Veteran, who will be accorded full military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard at committal services at Glenwood Cemetery. He leaves two brothers, Bill and James Barlow, a host of nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Helena McDonald, to mourn his passing and cherish his legacy. He was born in Casey County and died in Casey County, where his final resting place will be.

Lewis Barlow, age 82, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET Sunday, May 22, 2016, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Veteran's Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4pm-6pmCT/5pm-7pmET, Saturday at the funeral home.

Born July 15, 1933, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Jesse and Effie Griffin Barlow. He died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his home in Liberty, Casey County, KY at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and three days.

Lewis was a former Insurance Salesman. He was a member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church and a US Army Veteran.

  • His brothers: Bill and James Barlow

  • A host of nieces and nephews

  • and special friend, Helena McDonald
