Graveside Services for Marilyn Appleby McQueary will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 1pmCT at the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Herl D. Robertson and Bro. Travis Mann officiating.



Marilyn Appleby McQueary, 62, Russell Co., KY (1953-2016)

She was born in Indianapolis, IN, on August 8, 1953 a daughter of Susie (Maynard) Russell of Jamestown, KY and the late Hugh Appleby. She died Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 62 years, nine months, and six days.

She is survived by:
  • Mother: Susie Russell, of Jamestown, KY

  • Two daughters: LeAnn Grider (Travis) Mann, of Jamestown, KY; and Beth (Tony) Hodgens, of Springfield, KY

  • Six sisters: Judy Mann, Deborah King, Carolyn Williams, Virginia Huddleston, and Cynthia Lou Montgomery, all of Jamestown, KY, and Kimberly Fayard, of GA

  • One brother Larry (Cannonball) Appleby, Jamestown, KY

  • Four grandchidlren
She is preceded in death by her father, Hugh Appleby; step father, James Russell; three sisters, Connie Appleby, Donna McGowan, and Beverly Collins; and one brother, Hugh Appleby, Jr.
