(Ad/PB) BBQ Spring Fling Fundraiser is Fri 13 May 2016

Proceeds go to Rocket Boosters PTA group, whose goal this year is to buy more, very much needed, playground equipment for the Adair County Primary Center.

By Rebecca Wiseley

The Adair County Primary Center's PTA organization, the Rocket Boosters will be hosting an all-day Spring Fling event and BBQ plate lunch fundraiser, at the ACPC 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY, Friday, May 13, 2016, beginning at 11amCT until 2pmCT. BBQ plate lunches will be available for sale for either delivery to local businesses or can be picked up by anyone looking for a delicious meal that supports a great cause.

Each BBQ plate lunch costs $7 with free delivery to local businesses. All money will be picked up at the time of delivery. Donations are welcomed and appreciated. The meal includes a BBQ sandwich, chips, homemade dessert, and your choice of drink. Orders can already be placed by emailing our organization at acpcrocketboosters@gmail.com. Or orders may be placed by calling 270-634-3704.

Every year, the Rocket Boosters try to raise enough money to purchase an item or provide a service to the students of ACPC.

Last year, we raised enough money to buy a new swing set. This year, our goal is to raise enough money to buy more, very much needed, playground equipment for our students.

We're nearing our goal, and need the community's help in meeting, if not exceeding, our goal. All proceeds from the plate lunch sale goes directly to our purchase of playground equipment.

During our all-day Spring Fling, students will be able to enjoy several inflatables and bouncy houses as well as various other treats.
