U.S. Veteran Jerry Pennington, 68, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his home in Casey County, KY.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Casey County, KY. Visitation is 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, Friday, May 6, 2016, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers are Troy Sanders, Daniel Rowland, Robbie Allen, Jimmy Couch, Phillip Roy, and Josh Roy.

Jerry Pennington, Casey County, KY (1948-2016)


Born February 10, 1948 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of Dora Cain Asbury of Liberty, KY and the late Velber Meredith Pennington. He died in Casey County, KY, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the age of 68 years, two months, and 24 days.

He was a Navy veteran was retired from the Ford Motor Company with 30 years of service.

Other survivors in addition to his mother, Dora Cain Asbury, include:
  • His daughter: Dawn Pennington of Liberty, KY

  • Two brothers:: Larry Dale (and Brenda) Cain of Liberty, KY; and Tim Pennington of Mason, Ohio.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Charles.
