Six LWC student-athletes earn Baseball Academic awards

COLUMBIA, KY - Six members of the Lindsey Wilson baseball team earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, the conference office announced on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.



Ryan Harper, Jayden Jackson, Caleb Ratzman, Andy Weddle, Victor Garcia and Ty Bennett each earned the conference award.

Harper picks up the honor for the third time in his career while Garcia and Bennett both earn the award for the second time.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

Georgetown (KY) led all institutions with 15 honorees, while Cumberland (TN) had the second-most recipients with 14. Community Trust Bank is the sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Academic Award program.
