Wildflowers of KY: Wood Sorrel and Perfoliate Bellwort (Wendy Burt)

2016-04-26 - Creek Bend Drive roadway, Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c).
Saw these pretties on a through one of Columbia's best kept secrets, Creek Bend Drive. These were in a pristine woodland along the way. (If you should go, don't look down if you have acrophobia.) We do plan to do the ID leg work if a reader does not, but in the interest of protecting indolence, we'd be much obliged if a Wildflower expert could share their expertise this morning. - EW/LW. Update: Adair County's resident Wildflower Expert, Wendy Burt, has identified the flowers in this photo. Click Read More to see her answer.
