Golfers Durham and McGowan earn Academic All MSC honors By Charlie Balcom Two student-athletes on the Lindsey Wilson men's golf team earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, the conference office announced on Monday. Alex Durham and Steven McGowan both collected the academic award. It marks the third-consecutive season Durham has earned the honor. The Blue Raiders were two of 28 student-athletes across the MSC to be honored. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status. Campbellsville (KY) and Cumberlands (KY) led all institutions with eight student-athletes each. This story was posted on 2016-04-19 09:01:23
