Millard Reid Brewington, 70, Cumberland Co., KY (1945-2016)

He was a native of the Blacks Ferry community of Cumberland County, KY and a resident of Burkesville, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Marvin and Nannie Spears Brewington, and the widower of Nancy Brewington. He leaves six direct living descendants. He was a member of the Waterview Church of Christ and attended Judio Church of Christ. He was a retired employee of Spectrum Interiors.

Millard Reid Brewington age 70 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville.

Funeral service for Reid Brewington will be Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Dodson Cemetery. Family requests visitation after 4pmCT Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Millard Reid Brewington, 70, Cumberland Co., KY (1945-2016)


Reid was born on May 07, 1945 in the Blacks Ferry community of Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Marvin and Nannie Spears Brewington. He died Monday, April 18, 2016, at the age of 70 years, 11 months, and 11 days.

He was a member of Waterview Church of Christ and attended Judio Church of Christ. He was a retired employee of Spectrum Interiors.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Brewington; siblings, Paul Brewington, Jewell Smith, Lyle Simpson "Simp" Brewington, Keith Brewington, Robert Brewington, and Billy Brewington. Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Tracy Daniels and her husband B.J. and Kami Vincent all of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters: Pearl Janes and her husband Noah of Hodgenville, KY and Gertie Collins of Burkesville, KY

  • Two brothers: Charles Fred Brewington and his wife Anita of Indianapolis, IN and Kenneth Brewington of Burkesville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: David Seth Norris(Ashley), Cambria Raine Vincent, Nicholas Reid Davis, and Caroline Ellouise Daniels

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
