Free tire disposal days 5, 6, & 7 May 2016, Adair County By Teresa Spencer There will be three days on which Adair County residents can dispose of tires, on May 5 & 6 from 7am-4pmCT, and May 7, 2016 from 7am-12pmNoonCT, at the Kentucky Highway Department, 103 Service Road, Columbia, KY. Personnel will be on hand to help unload. All tires including those with rims will be accepted. However, foam filled tires, off road equipment tires, and solid tires with pressed rims WILL NOT be accepted. The event is sponsored by Adair County Judge Executive Michael Lee Stephens, the Adair Fiscal Court, and the Kentucky Division of Waste Management. For additional information, contact Adair County Solid Waste Coordinator Charlie Crawhorn at 270-378-0782.
