She was the matriarch of a highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Willie & Martha Jane Sims. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Norman Junior McQueen. She leaves 18 direct living descendants spanning four generations. She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church

Ella B. McQueen, age 91, of Kings Mountain, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral Services will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Saturday April 16, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Bro. Linville Hatter officiating. Burial will be in the K.P. Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9amCT/10amET, Saturday April 16, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Ella B. McQueen, 91, Kings Mountain, KY (1924-2016)

She was born in Kings Mountain, KY on July 29, 1924 to the late Willie and Martha Jane Sims Wall. She died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Paducah, McCracken County, KY, at the age of 91 years, eight months, and 14 days.

Ella B. was a Homemaker and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
    Her spouse: Norman Junior McQueen whom she married on July 26th, 1941 and was married to for 74 years
  • One daughter: Carolyn Simmons of Wickliffe, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Robbie and Michael McQueen, Gina Newton, Pam Frensley, Herbie and Adrian Simmons

  • Nine great grandchildren: John, Laura, Luke and Levi McQueen, Matthew Newton, Josh, Shelby and Walker Simmons and Zachary Frensley

  • Two great great Grandchildren: Bailey Simmons and Kale Newton.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was One Son: Robert McQueen, Four Sisters: Mary Napier, Elizabeth Brown, Pauline Hatter and Lillie Hatter and Six Brothers: Ed, Lawrence, Norman, Jesse, Jake and Jack Wall.
