Christopher Staten, 52 years formerly of Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Glenview Health Care in Glasgow, KY after several years illness.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Randy Parnell the officiating clergy. Interment in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Green County, KY. The family request visitation after 4:30pmCT, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Christopher Staten, 52, Adair County, KY (1963-2016)


He was born September 4, 1963 in Lebanon, KY the son of the late George William and Mary Decater Wright Staten. He died Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 52 years, seven months, and six days.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two brothers: Steve Staten and wife Mary of Mount Gilead, Ohio; and Dwight Staten and wife Kathy of Columbia, KY

  • Nieces and nephews: Marianne Grant, Bill Staten, Wesley Staten, Michael Staten and Blake Staten
Chris was a former construction worker.
