COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson football team earned a No. 13 ranking in the 2016 Spring NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Monday, April 11, 2016.

The Blue Raiders received 179 total voting points from the panel of national raters. It marks the third-straight poll the program has earned the No. 13 ranking after also appearing at No. 13 in the final regular season poll of 2015 and the postseason poll back in December.

National champion Marian (IN) secured the top spot in the rankings with 314 total voting points and all 14 first-place votes. Southern Oregon comes in at No. 2 with 302 points and Morningside (Iowa) rounds out the top three with 287 points.

Three other teams from the Mid-South Conference West Division reside in the poll, led by Reinhardt (GA) at No. 10. One spot ahead of the Blue Raiders is Campbellsville (KY) at No. 12, and Faulkner (AL) is ranked No. 24. Lindsey Wilson finished the 2015 season with an 8-3 record and a second-straight appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series Playoffs.
