Election 2016: Key calendar dates for primary 17 May 2016

The following are some key dates voters in the upcoming primary election, to be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016, should keep in mind:
  • Monday, April 18, 2016 at 4pmCT is the last day to register to vote for the May 17, 2016 Primary, pursuant to KRS 116.045(2)
  • The Adair County Board of Elections will examine voting machines;
    pursuant to KRS 117.165(2), Tuesday April 26th, 2016 at 9amCT, in the basement of the Adair County Annex Building, 424 Public Square, Columbia KY 42728
  • Absentee Voting for the May 17, 2016 Primary will begin on Tuesday April 26, at 12pmNoonCT in the Office of the Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer, 424 Public Square, Ste3, Columbia KY 42728.
  • The Adair County Board of Elections will meet in Regular monthly meeting on Thursday, April 28th, at 10amCT in the Office of Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer, 424 Public Square, Ste 3, Columbia KY 42728
  • Tuesday, May 10, 2016 is the last day for any voter to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot (not later than close of business 7 days before primary). Applications must be received by this day; pursuant to KRS 117.075; KRS 117.085
