Edward Hugh Smith, 72, of Dunnville, KY passed away , Friday April 08, 2016 at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services will be at 7pmCT, Sunday April 10, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KY. Visitation will be Sunday April 10, 2016 5pm-7pmCT at the funeral home.

He was a veteran of service in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Edward Hugh Smith, 72, Dunnville, KY (1943-2016)

He was born on Friday April 30, 1943 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Dorothy Smith and Adron Smith. He died Friday, April 8, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 10 days. He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Sue Huff, Windsor, KY

  • Two sons: Roger Smith, Breeding, KY; and Edward Lee Smith, Dunnville, KY

  • One sister: Faye Steege, Huston, Texas

  • Two brothers: Ray Smith, Dunnville, KY; and Don Smith, Jamestown, KY

  • Four grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Myra Smith.
