Robert (Bob) Koester, 88, Adair Co., KY (1927-2016)

He was a native of Batesville, IN and a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of his death. He was well known in the area for raising goats and Watusi cattle. He befriended many international students at Lindsey Wilson College and was a driver for the Amish community.

Robert (Bob) Koester, 88, of Columbia, Kentucky, died March 27, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2pmCT, at Living by Faith Community Church, 3041 Edmonton Road, Columbia, KY with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating. Cremation has been chosen.


Robert (Bob) Koester, 88, Adair Co., KY (1927-2016)


He was born September 23, 1927, in Batesville, Indiana. He was the son of the late Robert Herman and Caroline Thielking Koester. He died Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 88 years, six months, and four days.

He was well known in the area for raising goats and Watusi cattle. He befriended many international students at Lindsey Wilson College and was a driver for the Amish community.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
