Columbia PD investigating fight, find 20-year-old stabbed in back

18 year old Adair county man arrested on alleged assault charges; he's lodged in Adair County Regional Jail in Columbia, KY

Columbia Police Department Officers Josh Brockman and Sgt Gary Roy was dispatched to Magnolia Drive on a reported fight in progress early last night, Friday, April 1, 2016 at 8:30pmCT.



The fight was in front of an apartment complex (off Greensburg Street near Adair County High School - CM) with multiple people involved. Upon officers' arrival they found that 20 year old Jonathan (updated from Christopher) Dickson had been stabbed in his back.

Further investigation resulted in 18 year old Jeremy Janes being arrested and charged with Felony assault and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Ofc Josh Brockman, who was assisted by Sgt Gary Roy and Troopers from KSP post 15.
