Casey County injury collision on U.S. 127

LIBERTY, KY - Fri 31 Mar 2016 - Tpr. Nick Hale is investigating a collision that occurred on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Russell/Casey County line on US 127.



61-year-old Darwyn Roberts, of Science Hill, was operating a 2000 Ford and lost control in a curve, ran off of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree. Roberts was wearing a seatbelt and was treated and released at the Casey County Hospital.

He was charged with Driving Under the Influence and lodged in the Russell County Jail.

Tpr. Hale was assisted by the Casey County EMS and other emergency personnel. BR>
Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
