Adair County Fire Department does not solicit money by phone Calls asking for donations for Adair County Fire Department are not from anyone associated the Adair County Fire Department By Donald Hare, Public Information Officer Adair County Fire Department We have received several calls in the past few days concerning people being called upon in the county soliciting donations for the fire department. The Columbia-Adair County Volunteer Fire Department does not/nor has not ever done any type of solicitation in this form. We would like to make sure that the community is aware that this is not affiliated with the fire department and should you be asked, you may wish to contact local law enforcement.
