Adair 4-H Youth Leadership visits Frankfort By Tony Rose Adair County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development Members of the Adair County 4-H Youth Leadership program attended a two-day trip to visit Frankfort on February 24 and 25. As part of the program members toured the capital, toured the Kentucky Vietnam Memorial, and attended a House Committee meeting. Members also had the chance to serve as Pages in the House and Senate. Members also got to spend time with Representative Bam Carney and Senator Max Wise. Chloe Grider, Reilly Wells, and Elizabeth Marcum served as Pages for Senator Max Wise. Hannah Burton, Carli Ann Carter, Hannah Brown, Emily Farmer, and Lindsey Taylor served as Pages for Representative Bam Carney. We would like to say a huge Thank you to Representative Carney and Senator Wise for working with our youth and give them a great experience and learning opportunity. These group of outstanding young leaders represented Adair County very well and did a great job. 4-H Cloverbuds Meeting There will be a meeting of the 4-H Cloverbuds program on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 starting at 6 pm. The meeting will be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service located at 409 Fairground Street. Cloverbuds is a program for youth ages 5-8 years of age and will be doing hand on projects with the youth.
