Friends and family greet each other in Edmonton

2016-03-13 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Louise Firkins, second from left, and Geniece Marcum, left, enjoyed running into each other at lunch Saturday in Edmonton and sharing fun memories of their work years as toll collectors on the LBN/Cumberland Parkway before tolls were taken off. There are so many stories from that experience. With them are Louise's son Sammy in the red shirt with his two boys, Landon, the seven-year-old playing his game, and Dakota, the two-year-old in his dad's arms, and friend Brian Pack at right. Louise is now events coordinator at Bowling Park in Edmonton. She shared a very special event coming up at there in May with the arrival of the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Dates and times are available in the accompanying article. Click Read More below for details.
