James Murrell: Cautionary note on selective scripture quotations 'Remember when you are pointing a finger at someone, there are three pointing back at you from your own hand.' - JAMES MURRELL By James Murrell It is sad to see the people of my birthplace so divided, I read the comments from both sides that are posted daily by CM and see valid points from both. I am disturbed by the quoting of selected scripture being used as a tool to shame people. We read in John 5:10, that Jesus was condemned for healing on the sabbath which was against Mosaic law and considered a sin. Again in John 8:7 We see Jesus asking, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. The only sin listed as unforgiveable in The Bible is, one who Blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, Luke 12:10. Remember when you are pointing a finger at someone, there are three pointing back at you from your own hand. - James Murrell This story was posted on 2016-03-11 06:15:34
