Reyes repeats as MSC Baseball Player of the Week

For the second-consecutive week, Lindsey Wilson junior Miguel Reyes has been named the Mid-South Conference Baseball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Reyes went 10-for-18 at the plate in five games last week for the Blue Raiders, driving in eight runs as Lindsey Wilson posted a 3-2 record.


The outfielder from Brooklyn, N.Y., hit .556 during the week, scoring eight times, while adding a pair of home runs.

Reyes posted his best outing in the first game of a doubleheader with Judson (Ill.) on Saturday as he went 4-for-5 at the plate with two home runs and three RBIs.

On the year, Reyes is hitting .466 leads Lindsey Wilson with 22 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Lindsey Wilson is 15-6 on the season.

Reyes earns his second conference player of the week honor this season and second of his career.
