By Savannah Roy, FFA Reporter

The FFA Greenhand Ceremony was held this Thursday evening with great success. There was a large crowd of FFA members, parents and guests on hand to witness the event. After hearing motivational talks from Mariah Turner-FFA Chaplain, Ann Young-ACHS Guidance Counselor, and Luke Trapp, KY State FFA Officer, the new freshmen received their Greenhand FFA Degree certificate and pin.

Later the FFA Creed contest was won by Abby Dykes and the FFA Quiz Contest was won by Kyron Burton. Students and parents also heard from Katie Dalton Gaskins representing Farm Service Agency Loans and Danny Wilkinson, representing the Adair County FFA Alumni Chapter. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed refreshments and fellowship.
