By Donna Jones, President, ACGC

Thornless blackberries are among the easiest fruits to grow in your garden or backyard. With a productive life span of 15 to 20 years a single blackberry bush can produce as much as 10 or 20 pounds of fruit per season.

Please join the Adair County Garden Club on February 25, 2016 at the Adair County Extension Office 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY 42728 at 1pmCT, and learn how to select, plant, care for, and harvest blackberries. Attendees will receive a blackberry plant (free to Garden Club members and $5 for non-members). - Donna Jones, President of the Adair County Garden Club.
