Janet Larverne (Rogers) Lawless, 71, of Jamestown, Ky died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Janet Larverne Lawless will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Ed Parton and Bro. Roger Garner officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, February 6, 2016. Burial will be in the Jack Lawless Cemetery.

She was born September 20, 1944 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Harlan & Alice Warriner Rogers. She died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the age of 71 years, four months, and 14 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Noel Rogers and an infant sister, Helen Christine Rogers.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Lawless, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • Two children: Patricia (Dale) Meece, Russell Springs, KY; and Mark Allen (Roxann) Lawless, Jamestown, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Marketta Lawless, Jamestown, KY; and Jasmine Meece, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three sisters: Linda Mann, Russell Springs, KY; and Jeanice Robertson and Karen Wilson, both of Jamestown, KY

  • One brother: Vick (Cathie) Rogers, Jamestown, KY
