Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 2 Feb 2016
Indictments brought against 14 individuals from Taylor and Jefferson Counties in Kentucky, for crimes including robbery, possession of drugs, trafficking, possession of piperazines, wanton endangerment, theft, possession and distribution of child pornography, reckless driving, and assault.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 2 Feb 2016:
- Cory Gadberry (05/12/1977), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00010. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Robbery, 1st degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond $75,000 cash, no contact with victims/premises, victims not permitted to post the bond.
- Matthew Cash (03/21/1983), Liberty Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00011. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Menacing. Count 6 - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Count 7 - Operate motor vehicle under influence alc/drug, .08, 2nd offense. Bond set at $45,000 cash, MCR@PTS, weekly report & test.
- Dakota Smith (02/11/1994), Speck Ridge Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00012. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, .08, 1st offense. Count 4 - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- William B. Tompkins, Jr. (12/04/1991), Gardner St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00013-001. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (>less than 2g methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 4 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 5 - Controlled substance prescription not in original container, 1st offense. Bond set at $10,000(10%), no use of drugs or alcohol, MCR reporting and drug testing 2 times per month.
- Bridgett M. Reliford (10/04/1983), Pittman Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00013-002. Charged with 5 counts. - Ronald H. Clark (01/19/1961), Brook St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00015. Charged with 16 counts. Counts 1-3 - Distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, 1st offense. Counts 4-16 - Possess/View matter portray sexual performance by a minor. Bond set at $15,000/10%.
