Frank was a factory worker and a mechanic. He enjoyed playing guitars and singing. He also worked on lawn mowers. His wife of 48 years, Rita Allen Wethington, survives. He leaves 11 direct living descendants.

Frank Wethington, age 68, of KY Hwy 49 in Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT/3pmET, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Keith Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at the funeral home.



Frank Wethington, 68, Casey County, KY (1947-2016)


Born December 9, 1947, in Woodford Co., KY. He was the son of the late George Woodrow and Ola White Wethington. He died Saturday,January 23, 2016, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 68 years, one month, and 16 days.

Frank was a factory worker and a mechanic. He enjoyed playing guitars and singing. He also worked on lawn mowers.

Survivors include his wife, whom he married on August 26, 1967, Rita Allen Wethington of Liberty, KY, and the followig:
  • Son: Mark Wethington of Liberty, KY

  • A daughter: Anita Edwards of Liberty, KY

  • Sisters: Genevia Cochran of Indiana; and Betty Rodgers of Liberty, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Bethany (Billy) Crawley, Tabitha Edwards, and Taylor Wethington

  • And six great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Wethington; sister, Patricia Lane; and grandson, Mark Wethington II. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to help offset funeral expenses. Send condolences to the family of Frank Wethington
