Mr. Rex Cook, 62, Green Co., KY (1953-2016)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. He worked for Dart Container. He was the son of the late V.L. & Frances Gentry Cook. His wife, Yvonne Denise Bagby Cook, survives. He leaves seven direct living descendants.

Mr. Rex Cook, 62, departed this life Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home in Green County, KY.

The funeral services will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 11amCT, Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, January 26, 2016, and after 7amCT, Wednesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fry Baptist Church Cemetery in the Fry Community of Green County, KY.



Pallbearers: Harvey Beauchamp, Mike Kelly, Jerry Corbin, Gary Frog Smith, J.L. Curry, and Leroy Campbell

Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Bagby, Wendell Sullivan, John Bediford, Joey Clark, Wayne Allen Clark, Doug Clark, Royce Clark, Ronnie Russell, James Clark and Olen Bagby.

Mr. Rex Cook was born July 30, 1953 in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late V.L. and Frances Gentry Cook. He departed this life Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home in Green County, KY, having attained the age of 62 years, five months and 24 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. He worked for Dart Container.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Denise Bagby Cook, and the following:
  • Two daughters and one son-in-law: Sara Sluder and Troy of Greensburg and Amy Cook of Boone County, KY

  • One son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Nancy Milby Tucker of Summersville, KY

  • One sister and brother-in-law: Teresa and Victor Matney of Greensburg, KY

  • His mother-in-law: Florine Bagby of Greensburg, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Alec, Braeden, Rylee, Harley and Kayla

  • and two special little buddies: Jordan Kate Faulkner and Greer Milby
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Fry Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
