Powell Creek Road fire completely engulfs residence By Donald Hare, Executive Assistant to Media Relations Director Joshua Brockman News from the Adair County Fire Department. The Adair County Fire Department responded to 2395 Powell Road for a residential house fire Saturday morning January 16, 2016 at 7:59amCT. Upon firefighters arrival they found a residential structure fully engulfed in fire. Property was owned by William and Ruth Bryant. There was no one home at the time and the home was a total loss. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. There were 21 firemen on the scene for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This story was posted on 2016-01-16 16:53:08
