ACSO responds to two vehicle wreck

COLUMBIA, KY (12:51amCT, Sun 27 Dec 2015) - The Adair Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle collision on Campbellsville Road/HWY North 55, Saturday December 26, 2015, at around noon.

The accident occurred when Sherrill Chryslee, 21 of Campbellsville was traveling south in her 2012 Chrysler when she came upon a 1999 Chevy pickup truck stopped in the roadwaym according to witnesses.



Chryslee attempted to swerve to miss the vehicle but made contact with the pickup before leaving the roadway and striking an embankment.

Chryslee was transported by Adair EMS to Westlake Regional Hospital for possible injuries.

> Operator of the pickup Tyler Karnes, 19 of Columbia was not injured. Chryslee also had a passenger riding with her who was uninjured. Deputy Josh Durbin is investigating the accident.

He was assisted on the scene by Officer Drew Conn of Columbia Police Department. - Deputy Adam Cravens
