Single vehicle fatal collision occurs on KY 78, Casey Co. KY

LIBERTY, KY - (Wed 23 Dec 2015) – Tpr. Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at approximately 8:54pmET on KY 78 near the junction of KY 906.

37-year-old Marvin Wilson II, of Hustonville KY was operating an eastbound 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier on KY 78 when he lost control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway, striking multiple fence posts before coming to final rest in a field. Wilson was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor. Tpr. Likins was assisted at the scene by Casey County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
