DUI follows Casey County one vehicle injury accident By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY LIBERTY, KY - Tpr. Clint Bale is investigating a collision that occurred on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at approximately 7:34 PM CST, 6 miles west of Liberty on KY 1547. 55-year-old Clifton Hale, of Liberty, was operating a southbound 1997 Mercury on KY 1547 when he crossed the center line, entered the northbound ditch line and overturned. Hale was not belted and was transported to Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY, by EMS and then flown to University of Kentucky Hospital. He was cited to court for DUI 2nd degree. Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
