Leisha Davis, 54, Taylor Co., KY (1961-2015)

She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. She graduated from Green County High School and received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Campbellsville University. Leisha served as Food Services Manager at the Taylor County Detention Center and she enjoyed doing crafts, riding horses and being "Nana" to her grandchildren.

Leisha Lynn Davis, age 54, of Campbellsville died Tuesday, December 2, 2015, in Elizabethtown, KY, following a brief illness.

Funeral services for Leshia Davis were conducted at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Dwayne Lobb officiating. Burial is in Benningfield Cemetery in Marion County. Serving as pallbearers were Stephen "Red" Smith, Robbie Spencer, Darrell Davis, Chris Davis, Andrew Davis, John Marcum and Ben Spencer. Visitation was 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

She was born in Greensburg on June 21, 1961. She was the daughter of Marshel E. and Sharon Keltner Davis. She died Tuesday, December 2, 2015, in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY,at the age of 54 years, five months, and 11 days.

She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. She graduated from Green County High School and received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Campbellsville University. Leisha served as Food Services Manager at the Taylor County Detention Center and she enjoyed doing crafts, riding horses and being "Nana" to her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Sharon; a son, Daniel Warren Smith' and her grandparents, Eural and Evelyn Davis and Hobert and Lillian Keltner.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Terry Davis and the following:
  • A son: Stephen "Red" Smith and his wife, Brandy, of Campbellsville. KY

  • Two grandsons: Warren Nash Smith and Marshel Kane Smith

  • Her father, Marshel E. Davis, of Greensburg, KY

  • Her sister: Gretchen Bradshaw and her husband, Jimmy of Greensburg, KY

  • Her brother: Mike E. Davis and his wife, Valerie, of Greensburg, KY

  • A step-daughter: Denise Spencer and her husband, Rev. Robbie Spencer

  • A step-son: Chris Davis of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six step-grandchildren: Sarah Holt, Emily Spencer, Ben Spencer, Caleb Spencer, Bethany Wilson and Janah Davis

  • A niece: Emily Bradshaw

  • Nephews: Andrew and Nathan Davis

  • A host of other relatives and friends
