CHS freshmen basketball opens against Nelson By Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer Campbellsville Independent School District CHS freshmen boys' basketball team battles Nelson County in season opener Campbellsville High School freshmen boys' basketball team battled Nelson County in the season opener on Monday, Nov. 30. Nelson County won the game by a score of 32-42. The team will play in district league games on Saturday, Dec. 5, against Taylor and Adair counties, at 11:50 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, in Adair County. The next regular season game will be Thursday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. against Thomas Nelson at the CHS gymnasium. Tim Davis is the boys' head basketball coach.
