CU to graduate 227 in December commencements

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville University will hold two commencement ceremonies in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, on Friday, December 11, 2015, for the graduating class of 2015.

The first ceremony will start at 1pmCT/2pmET, and is for all Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Music (BM), Bachelor of Science (BS), and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degrees.

The second ceremony will begin at 3pmCT/4pmET, and will be for all Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN),Associate of Science (AS), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), and all Master degrees.



There are a total of 227 graduates in 20 different fields in the two ceremonies.

Two individuals will receive honorary doctorates

During the first ceremony, Dr. Russ Mobley, will be presented with an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters. Mobley served as a professor of speech and theater at Campbellsville University for 34 years. During his tenure as a professor, he positively impacted the lives of thousands of Campbellsville University students.

During the second ceremony Anna Mary Byrdwell will receive an Honorary Doctorate of Public Service. Byrdwell is a distinguished alumna of Campbellsville University serving for many years as a member of the CU Church Relations Council and served as CRC Chair. She has also served on the CU Board of Trustees for several years.

There is no graduation rehearsal for these commencement ceremonies. All graduates are to report to the Davenport Student Commons 45 minutes before the ceremony to receive their name card.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,500 students offering over 80 programs of study including 24 master's degrees, seven postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website is campbellsville.edu.
