Vallace Denton Elmore passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at his home in Casey County, KY. He was 79.

Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, November 27, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Cremation rites will be honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Friday from 11amCT/12pmET until funeral service



Vallace Denton Elmore, 79, Casey County, KY (1936-2015)


Born May 17, 1936 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Shirley and Gurthie Wesley Elmore. He died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 79 years, six months, and seven days.

He was a truck driver.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Olowene Decker Elmore, and the following:
  • A son: Brent (and Cheryl) Elmore of Liberty, KY

  • Daughter: Robin Elmore (and Gary) Preston, of Sharonville, Ohio

  • Three grandchildren

  • And a great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Haskel Elmore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society for cancer research.
