No. 1 in nation LWC women's soccer wins 5-0 over Point Park

The top-ranked Lindsey Wilson College Women's soccer team got four goals from forward Yvonne Ploeg of Grootegast, Netherlands, and beat visiting Point Park (PA) University 5-0 in the opening round of the NAIA National Championship Tournament, played Saturday afternoon at Walter S. Reuling Stadium on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College.

The Blue Raiders - who are the No. 1 in the 32-team tournament - advance to the final site, Orange Beach, AL, which will be played November 3 to December 5. 2015.
