Martha Ann Revis Collier, 74, Adair Co., KY (1941-2015)

She a member of an old line, highly regarded Adair County family and spent her childhood and high school years in Adair County. She was the daughter of the late George Dewey Revis and Mildred Grant Revis. Her husband of 52 years, Bob Collier, survives, along with five children and their families and a brother, David Revis, Campbellsville, KY, and a sister Marilyn McGowan, of Columbia, KY.

Martha Ann Revis Collier of Mobile, Alabama began her eternal rest at age 74 on Saturday, November 14, 2015 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Funeral mass will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 9:30amCT/10:30amET at Our Mother Of Sorrows Catholic Church, 760 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY. A graveside service will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:30 AM CST at the Cane Valley Cemetery, 135 Cane Valley Cemetery, Cane Valley, KY, with clergy officiating, Bro. Terry White. Interment in the Cane Valley Cemetery near Columbia, KY. Local visitation will be from 9amCT until 11amCT, Saturday November 21, 2015 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.

Martha was born on November 3, 1941. She was the daughter of the late George Dewey Revis and Mildred Grant Revis of Cane Valley, Adair County, Kentucky. She died Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the age of 74 years, and 11 days.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bob Collier; of Mobile, AL, and the following:
  • Their five children and families: Robert "Robbie" B. Collier, wife Pat; Karen C. Barnes, husband Steve and daughter Angela of Cumming, GA; Susan C. Agnew, husband Daniel, of Pensacola, FL; Catherine L. Collier of Orange Beach, AL; Carolyn C. Harrison, husband Micah, Newnan, GA

  • Her siblings and their families: Her brother David Revis and his wife Emma of Campbellsville, KY and her sister Marilyn Revis McGowan and husband Jimmy of Columbia, KY
