This year's carnival - which has the theme "What Does Christmas Mean to Me?" - is a free, fun and safe event for area children and their family members, said Holloway Health & Wellness Center Director Abe Cross.

"We want this event to be the biggest and best one yet, with lots of community and student involvement," Cross said. "It's our way of giving back to the community and saying 'thank you,' for all the support we've been given throughout the years. Plus, we get the opportunity to showcase how creative and caring our students are. It's a great social event for everyone involved."

The LWC Christmas Carnival will feature several activities for children, including cookie-decorating, storybook-reading, arts and crafts, balloon-sculpting, face-painting, and inflatable playground equipment.

Children will have an opportunity have a picture taken with Santa Claus from 1:30pm-3:30pmCT.

The LWC Christmas Carnival will also feature booths of local vendors and entertainment by carolers from LWC and area churches.

Cross said that the LWC Christmas Carnival will also include a collection of new coats for children from ages 3-4.
