She was a native of Fairplay, KY, and a resident of Columbia, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Louis Elmer and Mary Lizzie (Keith) Keith and the widow of William Strait. She died Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 84 years, six months, and 15 days. She was preceded in death by her husband William Strait several years ago. She was also preceded in death by her son William Jessie Earls in 2014; and by a brother Calvin Keith and a sister Myrtle Loy. She is survived by the following:
