Accident on Cumberland Pky, Adair Co., KY sends two to WRH

Tire blow out on 2002 Chevrolet Tracker factor in accident. Vehicle crosses median and overturns. Two occupants were not injured. Adair County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene by the Adair County Fire Department.

COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 10 Nov 2015/rec 5:06amCT) - At approximately 6pmCT, Mon 09 Nov 2015, Deputy Josh Durbin investigated a single vehicle accident which sent two to Westlake Regional Hospital with injuries.



Deputy Josh Durbin reported that Darion Taylor age 16 of Russell County was traveling west bound on the Cumberland Parkway when his tire blew out on his 2002 Chevrolet Tracker.

Taylor then entered the median causing his vehicle to overturn.

Two passenger's in the vehicle, 38 year old Madeley Taylor and 16 year old Amy Coppler were transported to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY, for injuries.

The operator, Darion Taylor and two other passengers, Demetrian Jackson and Melissa Taylor were not injured in the accident.

Deputy Josh Durbin was assisted on scene by the Adair County Fire Department and Adair Sheriff Harrison Moss.
