Rep. Whitfield: Ballard named Nov county of the month

WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Representative Ed Whitfield (KY-01) is pleased to announce Ballard County as November's Featured County of the Month.

All this month, visitors in Congressman Whitfield's Washington D.C. office will enjoy a collection of items from Ballard County including a number of brochures, items from local manufacturers, information and products from the Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site, as well as a photo book featuring various scenes from around Ballard County.

"Guests instantly notice our County of the Month display and frequently share their experiences from these areas," said Whitfield. "I appreciate the help from the local organizations in showcasing these unique counties and am always delighted to have a bit of ‘home’ in my Washington D.C. office." The County of the Month program is an ongoing collaboration between Congressman Whitfield’s Washington D.C. office and local chamber of commerce organizations and tourism offices.
