Gertie McKinney Hamilton, Breeding, KY native (1931-2015) Gertie work at M. Fine and sons for 28 years and was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Post #379 in Elizabeth, Indiana. She was born in Adair County, KY, and was a resident of Floyd County, IN, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Elroy & Vergie Mae Hawkins and the widow of Carl Russell Hamilton. She leaves 37 direct living descendants. Visitation will be from 12pm-6pmCT/1pm-7pmET, Sunday, November 1, 2015, and 9am-11amCT/10am-12pmET, Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held 11amCT/12pmET, Monday at the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Gertie McKinney Hamilton, Breeding, KY native (1931-2015) She was born March 13, 1931 in Breeding, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Elroy "ER" and Vergie Mae Hawkins McKinney. She died Wednesday, October 28, in New Albany, Floyd County, IN, at the age of 84 years, seven months, and 15 days. Gertie work at M. Fine and sons for 28 years and was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Post #379 in Elizabeth, Indiana.
