Rebecca Jean Rogers, 61, Russell County, KY (1954-2015)

She was a clerk for Warner Fertilizer Co. and a member of Creelsboro Christian Church. She was born in Russell County, KY, and was a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Maxine Bledsoe, who survives, and the late Allen Bledsoe, and the widow of Tommy Rogers. She leaves five direct and one step living descendants.

Rebecca Jean Rogers, 61, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Rebecca Jean Rogers will be 2pmCT, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. Visitation will be after 12:30pmCT, Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Campbell Cemetery.

She was born January 4, 1954 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of Maxine Back Bledsoe and the late Allen Bledsoe. She died Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 61 years, nine months, and 25 days.

She was a clerk for Warner Fertilizer Co. and a member of Creelsboro Christian Church.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Rogers.

Survivors include the following:
  • One daughter: Somer Sturgis, Houston, TX

  • One step son: Jamie Rogers, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Madison, Natalie, Andrew, and Avery

  • Mother: Maxine Bledsoe, Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Linda Cook, Russell Springs, KY

  • One brother: Steve (Teresa) Bledsoe, Russell Springs, KY
