What has been proposed in the Chapter 9 Plan of Adjustment is that the current Hospital District Tax would be assessed until December 31, 2025. From Larry Smith & Mike Wilson, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM Westlake Regional Hospital Administrator Neal Gold said last night, in an interview with our Mike Wilson following the regular meeting of the Adair County Hospital Board of Trustees, that negotiations are continuing for the sale of the Westlake Regional Hospital to TJ Samson Hospital of Glasgow, KY. The proposed purchase price is $3.2 million dollars. Here is what has been proposed in the Chapter 9 Plan of Adjustment: "The District shall continue to assess the Hospital District Tax until December 31, 2025 Gold said that the plan will be negotiated with the creditors and will have to be approved by the Bankruptcy Court overseeing the Hospital's Chapter 9 Bankruptcy. Gold said that he had hoped a final settlement would come by the end of 2015, but is now projecting a January 31, 2016 final settlement. - LARRY SMITh is General Manager of FM 99.9 the Big Dawg.
